Brought to you by Active Schools Renfrewshire, OneRen’s activity camps are back for the Spring holidays! Running from 7th - 17th April 2025, the camps bring together an amazing range of activities which will help pack the days off school with a fun, energised, and action-packed programme.

The camps provide a week filled with a mixture of indoor and outdoor sports and activities, football fun, and disability sessions to choose from.

Multi-activity Camps (P1-S2)

7th - 11th April & 14th - 17th April 2025

Are you looking for a fun filled activity camp this Easter? Look no further than our Multi Sport and Activity Camps (On-X for 2 weeks) Our trained staff will deliver a variety of sports and activities for you to enjoy (at a ratio of 1 coach to 15 participants) including dance, archery, basketball, tennis and many more!

You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, try lots of new sports and meet new friends. This camp will include indoor/outdoor sports, bouncy castle, dance games, outdoor challenges and adventures no matter what the weather.

Football Camp (P1-S2)

7th - 11th April & 14th - 17th April 2025

OneRen Sport and Health Services will be organising an Easter Football Camp, which is suitable for young footballers from Primary 1 to S2. Young players who attend may be taking their first steps in the game or be more experienced players who wish to work towards our elite player development programme.

Each day will follow football related themes designed by experienced Scottish FA qualified coaches and in line with the National Player Pathway, which will allow players to develop their technique through individual and group skill practices along with small sided games.

We strive to create an environment where young players will enjoy participating in all aspects of the weekly programme and complete the week having improved technically and physically as a young player and made lots of new friends in a FUN environment.

Outdoors - Multi-activity (P7-S6)

7th -10th April & 14th - 17th April 2025, different activity on each day

Monday 7th April - Gorge walking,  10am - 4pm

Tuesday 8th April - Mountain biking, 10am - 4pm

Wednesday 9th April - Introduction to Paddle sport,  10am - 4pm

Thursday 10th April – Rock climbing,  10am - 4pm

Monday 14th April – Caving,  10am - 4pm

Tuesday 15th April - Gorge walking,  10am - 4pm

Wednesday 16th April - Rock climbing,  10am - 4pm

Thursday 17th April - Introduction to Paddlesport,  10am - 4pm

Lagoon Leisure Centre

Disability Sport and Activity Session (P1 - S6)

8th, 9th & 15th April 2025, 12:45pm - 2:15pm

Attendees will be able to take part in 2 clubs per week at the Lagoon Leisure Centre, Paisley, where a bouncy castle will be on offer as well as the opportunity to take part in sports/activities led by qualified coaches or our affiliated hub clubs.

This family club is available to any family with a young person with a disability and/or sensory impairment (Siblings welcome). A Parent/Guardian/Carer must stay with the participant for the duration of the club, but they are actively encouraged to take part!

This club allows all the family to take part in fun activities locally in Renfrewshire.

Lagoon Leisure Centre

Disability Water Polo Session (P5 - S2)

Wednesday 16th April 2025, 1pm - 2pm

We are delighted to offer a Disability Fun Water Polo Club in the smaller 1.1m swimming pool at the Lagoon for young people with a physical, disability, sensory impairment or learning disability. To take part in this session there is no requirement to be able to swim, however participants must;

1. Be able to stand in the 1.1m pool.

2. Bring a full swimming change including a towel.

3. Have a parent/guardian/carer to stay in the seated area around the pool for the duration.

Park Mains High School

Dance & Movement Camp (P1-P7)

7th - 11th April & 14th - 17th April 2025, 10.00 – 3.00pm

A variety of styles varying from street dance, disco, cheer, lyrical, ballet jazz etc. The sessions will be delivered by experienced dance coaches in the form of fun games, activities and routines. Movement will range from stretching, conditioning, floor and vault skills.

General skills will be based around rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round off, bridges, walk over and progressions. Each skill set will be taught by UKCC level 1 and 2 trained coaches and will be taught at the ability of the participants.

Please note: pre-schoolers cannot attend this time but we look forward to them joining our activities in the future.

Please note: If the number of bookings are less than the minimum required, the camp may be cancelled. If this is the case, then booked participants will be offered a refund or a place at another OneRen Camp if possible.

FAQs

To get the discount, please book your space online and pay in full. Once booked, email class4kids@renfrewshire.gov.uk with proof of Universal Credit (if required). They will then process the 20% discount as a refund to your payment method. If you have any problems or are not able to book and pay in fully initially, then please contact the email address first. Siblings will automatically receive a discount at checkout.

Camps will be delivered by Renfrewshire Active Schools and their qualified team of coaches.

Coaches will be on hand to refill bottles if required.

Groupings at camps are generated based on your child’s age. We do it this way in the interest of your child’s health and safety while they are with us at our camps. The groups are also generated and capped in line with our sport and physical activity guidance and ratios of staff to children. Where possible we will work to accommodate your request as we want your child to have a memorable and enjoyable experience with us at our camps.

No, lunch is not provided. All participants must bring lunch as there will be no available time to go to the café.
