It’s time to get festive with OneRen's Winter Festival programme of events, taking place across our venues between November and December with Christmas movies, pantomime, musical events, festive workshops and more!

The exhibition will feature over 300 works based on the themes of Nature, Play, Paisley, Portrait, Climate, Drawing and the work of celebrated local artist, John Byrne.

The Art Department is open Tues - Sat, 10am to 4pm.

Dark Sky Evenings at Clyde Muirshiel

Clyde Muirshiel Visitor Centre, Lochwinnoch

Take a closer look at Renfrewshire’s stunning night sky at a series of Dark Sky Viewing Nights.

Led by John Pressly – Science Curator at One Ren’s Paisley Museum – and Clyde Muirshiel’s Countryside Rangers.Planned is an in depth look at the planet Saturn, which will be visible in the night’s sky and if not, an indoor lecture where John will take questions from the audience.

Further evenings are planned for November at Lochwinnoch’s Castle Semple Visitor Centre focussing on the Moon and December again at Muirshiel Visitor Centre to investigate deep sky objects. These will be live to book after the previous evening has taken place.

A World Beyond Waste - Embrace the Season of Sustainability!

Nature doesn't waste a thing – so why should we? Join RenCAN’s Svenja Meyerricks for an inspiring talk on how to simplify the festive season by embracing a waste-free, circular economy. Afterwards, get creative with Lucy Cunningham in a hands-on seasonal wreath-making workshop, using beautiful natural and upcycled materials.

Throughout the course of their exciting journey as a group, the members of Clamjamfrie have won over the hearts of ceilidh dancers across Scotland, this talented Ceilidh Band has earned the admiration and affection of their fans.
