‘Pick and pick’ is a variation of plain weave.

The weft yarns will hide the warp yarns. (This is called a ‘weft faced ’weave. It means that you can really only see the weft yarns on the front of the fabric. We call the front of the fabric the ‘face’.)

The same rules for plain weave will apply.

This time you use two different weft colours.

You alternate colours as you weave, which makes a striped pattern.
