This state-of-the-art town hall has all the latest technological conferencing and event facilities that you would expect from an award-winning venue. With a range of spaces to choose from and a range of catering options, Johnstone Town Hall can provide your perfect location, from small meetings to large-scale conferences, from parties to professional performances and weddings.

From Monday 11 July, daily opening hours at Johnstone Town Hall will be Monday-Friday 8am-10pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday Closed. Venues will be open outwith these times for events on request.

Hosting your own performance? Let our Box Office team handle all your ticketing needs, we provide online, telephone and in person sales, data capture, reporting and ticket printing for a 10% fee.

Johnstone Town Hall has a state-of-the-art flexible auditorium with a maximum seated audience capacity of 264, excellent technical specification and audience facilities including our large foyer and bar space. We have a variety of different performance packages, which include technical support and dressing room hire.

Life Events, Celebrations and Dinners

Johnstone Town Hall is the perfect place to hold an event. We regularly host family parties, weddings and award ceremonies, ceilidhs and gala dinners and our dedicated events and catering teams can organise every aspect of your celebration.

Our Main Hall can hold up to 180 people for a dinner and dance and our smaller rooms are perfect for more intimate gatherings.

We have a fully licensed bar and kitchen on site and our technical team will make sure that whether you have live music, a DJ or your own playlist, the music sounds fantastic.

We have 7 different sized rooms including our Main Hall which can seat 250 people. If you are hosting a large conference, product launch or awards ceremony, the Main Hall is perfect as a lecture suite with a stage, large screen, lectern, sound system and support from fully trained technicians. The ‘street’ running through the town hall offers a bright and spacious breakout space. There is also a mezzanine on the first floor which overlooks the street and is a great space for catering.

FAQ's

We provide an in-house catering service at Johnstone Town Hall. We can accommodate individual requests and requirements and our onsite catering team/chef will meet with you to discuss requirements. We can also create bespoke menus on request should you have a particular menu or theme in mind.

There is a car park directly in front of Johnstone Town Hall, with extra parking facilities available around the back of the venue. There is also a dedicated Marriage Suite entrance for wedding cars.

Johnstone Town Hall is a fully accessible venue.
