The Lagoon Leisure Centre will be used as part of the preparations for the UK General Election
The Lagoon Leisure Centre will be used as part of the preparations for the UK General Election being held on Thursday, 4 July 2024. This includes part of the centre being utilised for the Election count, including postal votes. As a result, there are some changes to upcoming programmes:
- 2 July – 5pm, 5 July – all Arena classes will be cancelled.
- 4 July – 5pm, 5 July – Dance Studio classes will be cancelled.
- Public gym/swim access will conclude at 7.30pm on 4th July (last admission 7pm) with building closing to public access at 8pm.
We are working to relocate classes within other parts of the venue, please check the OneRen Leisure App for more details. We apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of the General Election preparations.
Classes which are affected and cancelled within these dates are:
Tuesday 2nd July
Line Dancing 9.30-10.15am
Tai Chi 10.40-11.25am
Step In Circuits 11.40am-12.25pm
Wednesday 3rd July
All classes will be relocated to the dance studios.
Thursday 4th July
Tone 10.40-11.25am
Vitality Strength & Balance 12.00-1.00pm
Easy Circuits 2.00-3.00pm
Easy Circuits 5.40-6.25pm
Step Up Circuit 10.00-11.00am
Sosa fitness 11.15am-12.00pm
Pulmonary Rehab 1.00-4.00pm
Body Pump 7.40-8.25pm
