Illuminate Paisley Library with Women's Music!

We are delighted to bring Illuminate Women’s Music - series events to shine light on the creativity of women composers, both living today, and those nearly erased by history.

We are bringing a very special event to Paisley Central Library - a family friendly workshop where we will explore sounds together that we can make with our voices and toy instruments. Led by composers Ruta Vitkauskaite and Angela Slater, we will then together recreate a Scottish tale about a woman through the sounds we invented. Finally, an incredible soprano Stephanie Lamprea will join us to sing us a song, and to teach some vocal noises you never thought you could make!
