Vam! Meet Ups For Visual Artists: VACMA Showcase and Information Session

The Visual Artist and Craft Makers Awards (VACMA) scheme offers small grants to visual artists and craft makers for their creative development at all stages of their career. These awards are supported by Creative Scotland inpartnershipwith OneRen and are open to artists and makers who can demonstrate a commitment to developing their creative practice.

Join OneRen’s Visual Arts Producer and a representative from Creative Scotland Visual Arts for an information session. We will cover how to apply, what the fund can support and a Q&A in which you can ask us anything to support you in your application.

We are also delighted to be joined by two recent VACMA Renfrewshire awardees who will share their funded projects and give an insight into how the grant made a difference to their practice.

Vam! Meet Ups for Visual Artists are a supportive space to help you connect with other artists, share and develop your creative work. The Meet Ups are relaxed, inclusive, and open to artists living, working, or maintaining a studio space in Renfrewshire. Both professional artists and people who create art in their spare time are welcome.

You are welcome to join even if you are not thinking of applying to the VACMA fund.
