Writing Dance: A Creative Workshop with Leela Soma

“It’s only words. Airy nothings, colours of breath, and when you breathe in you feel fine and when you breathe out you feel better” - A.L. Kennedy, 'On Writing'Dance is a wonderful form of storytelling and in this workshop the art of Indian Classical Dance will be used as inspiration to get the pen flowing. Through a mixture of image, video and a special live performance from Edinburgh-based dancer Radha Krishnan, writing facilitator Leela Soma will challenge participants to examine an unfamiliar cultural experience and use this to help them write something new. Join us as we delve into the world of dance to create writing that is both unique and universal.
