The Health and Wellbeing team are here to help address all aspects of your health - physical, mental and social. Whether you are wanting to become more physically active, try new things, connect with people or help your own and others’ wellbeing through volunteering, we have you covered!

In terms of physical activity, the UK guidelines recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity per week, plus muscle strengthening activities at least twice a week. Any activity is better than none and combining different types of activity provides the greatest benefits. It’s best to reduce time sitting or lying down, breaking up these periods with light activity.

Our team can provide support, knowledge and encouragement to get you more confident and independent with your health and wellbeing.
