Cool’s out for Summer with amazing programme of sensational events launched

OneRen’s ‘Cool Summer’ programme has been launched with a fun-filled programme of activities which entertain the entire family during the long, sunny days.

Running from 1 June – 11 August 2023, Cool Summer, brought to you by OneRen, brings together an amazing range of activities which will help pack the summer days with a creative, cool and action-packed programme. Our hugely popular summer activity camps and football camps return to On-x and Park Mains High School from 3 July to 11 August, we will also welcome dance and movement camps at On-X, as well as a disability sport and activity club at The Lagoon and a disability sport and dance club at On-X. We will also be offering a great value family summer swim pass across all of our pools, as well as fun swim sessions at Renfrew Victory Baths and summer splash sessions at the Johnstone Community Sports Hub. There will also be £1 pitch play sessions at the Johnstone Hub.

Across Renfrewshire Libraries, we’re excited to launch the Summer Reading Challenge 2023 ‘Ready, Set, Read!’, produced by The Reading Agency. Sign up at your local library or on the Skoobmobile from Saturday, 24 June. This year’s challenge is all about games and sports. By signing up at your local library, you will receive your free Ready, Set, Read! core pack and collect golden book stickers, and solve puzzles as you make your way through the reading challenge. Local business Consilium Contracting Services will also be sponsoring a prize of a pair of cinema tickets for a lucky winner in every library.
