Kapil Seshasayee – SAMAs Paisley Takeover

Kapil Seshasayee is an Art Rock / Indian Classical / R&B musician and visual artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. His debut LP - “A Sacred Bore” is a concept album about oppression within the Indian caste system both in India and in diaspora.

The first in a trilogy of Desifuturist works, the album has featured in

BBC Radio Scotland and has been inducted into the Sound & Moving Image exhibit of The British Library.

Kapil toured the album across the UK, Canada & Germany across 2018-19 with festival appearances at

Latitude Festival,
SOLAS Festival,
Glasgow Mela,
Celtic Connections,
Outwith Festival and Doune The Rabbit Hole.
