Stuck in the House Session 49 - Juan Laforet

Juan Laforet is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter from Gran Canaria and now based in Glasgow. He is involved in the bands Quiche and The Joy Hotel, and has collaborated with many other local musicians in the past such as Savage Mansion.

Now embarking on his solo project with his debut album Bandama Drive, self-recorded, mixed and mastered from the confines of his bedroom. Bandama Drive is a collection of songs navigating Juan's experiences with relationships, personal growth and hope.

The album explores acoustic alternative pop peppered with elements of shoegaze, psychedelia, and his native latin music, with melancholic, but also hopeful and positive lyrics.
