Accidents of the Soul

Accidents of the Soul is a new dance-theatre solo by Shotput co-artistic director Lucy Ireland, structured as a living photoshoot where entire worlds are built, captured and destroyed. Through feat-of-endurance dance, striking design and sharp humour, Lucy explores the extremes of emotion and the tension between genuine feeling and performance. An antidote against numbness, Accidents of the Soul is about the intensity of emotions, multiplicity of the self and the never-ending fight to find connection within a fragmented world.
