In this interactive guided workshop, art and poetry critic Greg Thomas introduces participants to the strange and wonderful world of Edwin Morgan’s concrete poetry, in anticipation of his and Julie Johnstone's new edited volume, A Home in Space: Selected Concrete, Visual, and Sound Poetry. Hear more about the connection between Morgan and the industrial, architectural, and cultural heritage of Glasgow and the West of Scotland, before having a go at creating your own concrete poems in response to this literary icon. No writing experience required – beginners welcome!
