Local guitarist Fraser John Lindsay and his amazing melting pot of top musicians return to play
Paisley Arts Centre with electrifying Australian-born singer Charlotte Marshall, offering Paisley
buddies another chance to see Fraser’s exciting, original and highly entertaining Blues Incentive
show; a fantastic fusion of creative talent blending blues, rock n roll and jazz influences with plenty
improvisation across the boards. A fantastic night out for music fans.
“Brilliant night, really enjoyed the music from these very talented musicians!”
(Alistair Smith - Paisley Arts Centre 2019)
“Fantastic gig. Charlotte’s version of Tennessee Waltz was amazing.”
(Robert Mellon – Paisley Arts Centre 2019)
“A truly energetic and vibrant experience. Pure dynamite, emphasized by Fraser John Lindsay’s mean
riffs, and blues-soul vocalist Charlotte Marshall’s fiery performance”
(Edinburgh Blues Club opening night review - Voodoo Rooms 2014)
“An extremely virtuosic guitar player. Fraser John Lindsay is prepping to return to a familiar haunt in
the Paisley Arts Centre with his Blues Incentive outfit.” (Mill Magazine 2019)
Fraser, originally from Elderslie, studied music at Castlehead High school in Paisley before honing his
craft playing guitar alongside local musicians and bands such as Limon, Little Miss Debbie & the
Scumbag Boogie Band, Riff Raff, Willie Matthews, Blind Panik, Jill Jackson, Middle of The Road, Linda
Jackson, The Statesboro Blues Band, Charlotte Marshall & the 45s, Black Snake Roots, and 24T.
“Forged from the same ‘seat of your pants’ style of early Beck and Page, there’s never a dull moment
when Fraser plays! Great sense of melody, adventurous with fine technique and a quirkiness that
makes him stand out from the crowd. If you enjoy great guitar, give Fraser a listen!
(Jim Keilt - guitarist: Statesboro’ Blues Band, Lonehead, The Halos - 2019)
Fraser launched his debut instrumental album MELODIC MAYHEM in 2011 (Featuring his own blues
composition, in the style of the late Jeff Beck, titled 16 Bar Bliss) and has continued to produce live &
studio records via his label FRAZ RECORDS, including a limited edition CD / DVD, capturing FJL Blues
Incentive’s lively performance at Paisley Arts Centre in 2017. Fraser has also spent the last decade
busy producing brand new compositions for a thrilling new music-led project – watch this space.
