Horse THE SAME SKY #35

Please note that tickets to this show will be on-sale Friday 2 May.

Horse, the phenomenal singer-songwriter and true icon of British music, celebrates 35 years since the release of her landmark debut album The Same Sky. Originally released on 18th June 1990, the album has become a timeless soundtrack for countless lives. The record's first single, You Could Be Forgiven, was followed by fan-favourites The Speed of the Beat and Sweet Thing. The final release, Careful—a breathtaking ballad featuring only voice and strings—remains one of Horse’s most enduring songs and was famously covered by Will Young. Following the album's release, Horse toured extensively across the UK and Europe, sharing stages with legends such as Tina Turner and B.B. King. Returning to PAC for this special anniversary show is a poetic full-circle moment, as Horse originally showcased The Same Sky for producer Pete Smith at this very venue. In this exclusive event, Horse will perform the entire album in its original track order, share intimate stories "in conversation," and treat audiences to highlights from her 11-album career, including tracks from her stunning latest release, The Road Less Travelled. “Horse could sing a weather report and make it moving.” — Leicester Mercury “A ridiculously magnificent voice... reasserts herself as the ultimate singers’ singer.” — The Write Angle “One of Britain’s finest singers.” — Q Magazine Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime celebration of an artist whose voice continues to captivate and inspire
