Celebrate Scots poetry in an event hosted by the National Library of Scotland Scots Scriever and award-winning performer, Taylor Dyson. Len Pennie astounded readers with her debut collection, Poyums, having established herself as a popular Scots voice online. Her second collection, Poyums Annaw, is another blistering collection that confronts difficult themes with characteristic wit and defiance. Michael Mullen’s debut collection, Goonie, has been shortlisted for several awards including the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 2025.In these poems, an oral Scots tradition combines with whip-sharp Glaswegian humour to paint a vivid picture of working-class community from the perspective of its queer son.
