This high-energy, interactive poetry workshop led by writer and musician Spencer Mason celebrates voice, identity, and fearless self-expression through the lens of punk and DIY music culture. Inspired by Paisley’s rich musical history - from punk’s arrival in the 1970s to local gigs that shaped Scotland’s independent music scene –we will explore how everyday experiences can be transformed into performative storytelling. Drawing on punk’s spirit of rebellion and resilience, come along to discover how your voice can contribute to the ongoing soundtrack of Paisley’s cultural life.
