Author of best-selling books including The Fair Botanists and The Secrets of Blythswood Square, Sara Sheridan returns with The Jewel Keepers, the story of the mischievous McKenzie women, keepers of the Scottish crown jewels in the face of trouble. Emma Cowing meanwhile was inspired by her great-aunt Violet and the Scottish travelling shows to write The Show Woman, a joyful and devastating story about four young misfits who band together to form an all-female circus act. Join both authors to hear about creating these tales as they chat to fellow historical novelist, Lucy Ribchester.
