Sister Act: The Musical

Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group are proud to present their latest production Sister Act the Musical.

Sister Act is a feel-good musical comedy packed with soulful music, big laughs, fabulous characters, and a heart-warming story about friendship, faith, and finding your voice. Based on the beloved 1992 film, the musical tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a nightclub singer who witnesses a crime and is placed in protective custody… in a convent. While trying to “blend in,” Deloris unexpectedly transforms the struggling church choir, bringing joy, unity, and a whole lot of sparkle to the sisters’ lives.

Bursting with soulful songs, big laughs, heartfelt moments, and nuns with more groove than anyone expects, Sister Act is a musical celebration of found family, fabulousness, and finding the joy in being unapologetically yourself.
